House Assembly was conducted on 27.4.16

   Different tag lines were allotted to five houses.

         FREEDOM HOUSE           SAY NO TO POLYTHENES

           ENTERPRISE HOUSE  -  GO GREEN DRIVE

           DIGNITY -                         SAVE WATER RESOURCE

           MODESTY HOUSE  -       GARBAGE MANAGEMENT

              COURAGE HOUSE -        SAVE ENERGY

Each of the houses presented beautiful skits in the form of nukkar  natak , song and dance , verbal message and also slogans.

  

 

The efforts of all the houses was appreciated by madam Principal. 

All the participants were full of zeal and enthusiasm. They actively participated in the event.

EARTH-DAY CELEBRATIONS

ACTIVITIES RELATED TO EARTH DAY

At DLDAV Pitampura we celebrated the occasion of Earth-Day in a unique manner. Different themes like 

ENDANGERED SPECIES AFFORESTATION AND CLEAN CITY were given for board decoration.

Students participated in various activities like  RAGES TO RICHES ,POSTER MAKING, HAND PUPPET HEAD GEAR AND MASK MAKING. 

The activities  were conducted  to make children aware of the uses of waste material and to give them a lesson on reducing waste to save our future, to restore forest wealth and to save endangered species for maintaining ecological balance. 

             The students made beautiful and innovative head gear and mask of various endangered animals. Fantabulous ideas were demonstrated by students from waste ropes to broken bangles, waste nails to broken door handles. Students also made hand puppets from socks and enacted. Students decorated their class  bulletin board on the given theme.

  

Earth Day—April 22

Earth day is an annual event,celebrated on April 22.
Worldwide events are held on this day to demonstrate support for the protection of environment.

DLDAV School ND block Pitampura organized health walk on the occasion of EARTH DAY. Class VI students participated in the walk . Children started the health walk from the school to LD block spreading awareness amongst people.

 We  the  DAVIANS are committed towards environment and for our  Earth. Lets all of us be a part of earth day and contribute  by planting and saving trees and utilizing the concept of  reduce, reuse and recycle.
